Conosur Imports began with the intent of helping a young single mother and artist. We began by bringing in her original art painted on silk known as batik. Our mission has expanded to include other Chilean artists, artisans and jewelry makers. Our products, all hand made, give each piece the quality of originality. We offer handcrafted jewelry, scarves, hats, headbands, original paintings, leather articles and our ever popular dyed wooden flowers. Each item has its own story to tell! We at Conosur believe in Fair Trade and equity. By forming or company we have given Chilean artists the opportunity to advance economically without exploitation. In turn, Conosur provides original and unique products to our customers around the world. Why Chile? Co-founder Oscar Haupt is a native Chilean.
